UK H2Mobility responds to APPG's Hydrogen inquiry
On Thursday the 18th of June, UK H2MOBILITY's secretariate Ben Madden give verbal evidence to support the consortium's written submission to the APPG's hydrogen inquiry.
Four organisations were asked to give additional evidence:
- UK H2Mobility
- The CCS Association
- Electricity Networks Association
- The Committee on Climate Change
All four speakers emphasised the importance of starting to act now on hydrogen. With particular focuses on:
- Creating the regulatory environment to support business models which are invisible
- Commercializing the technology which already exists today
- Emphasising the importance of scale
- Focusing on a limited number of areas which match the natural U strengths and allowing them to achieve scale
